I've now had a detailed account of Ballbaby's family.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding manages to roll out every Greek stereotype short of sheep rubbin' into a quality date-flick worthy of Reg's Get-Some-Action Stamp of Approval. If you know a Greek, met a Greek, seen a Greek, or are a Greek, this movie will have you in stitches before you can ask where the word "Kimono" originated from.

Two lamb chops and a shot of Ouzo up.

I saw this a couple of weeks ago and to be honest, can't really say it was as great as some make it out to be. It had it's funny moments though and I can't really say that you won't get your money's worth by seeing it.

Better than most I've seen recently

When you realize that it was a one-woman that got expanded to a full length movie by an indy production company it didn't come off half badly. There's going to be a TV show made from it in the near future as well...

STRAWBERRY FRUIT FLAN

Recipe By : A young, gay Fastshow
Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories : Desserts

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1/2 c Unsalted margarine
2 tb Unsalted margarine
3/4 c Sugar
2 Eggs
2 tb Evaporated milk
1/4 ts Vanilla
1 1/4 c Flour
2 ts Baking powder
1 lb Fresh strawberries (or more)
3 tb Sugar
1 pk Red transparent glaze

In small bowl, mix margarine, sugar and eggs until
creamy. Add evaporated milk and vanilla.

In another bowl, sift flour and baking powder
together. Stir into margarine mixture in small amounts.

Grease a 12 inch fruit flan tin with a fluted rim.
Sprinkle with flour. Pour in mixture and spread evenly
with a knife.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes, or
until golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes after
removing from oven.

Drain strawberries; reserve juice. Turn cake upside
down and fill with strawberries. (If strawberries are
very large, you may want to slice them in half.
Sprinkle with sugar and allow to sit for 1 hour.) Add
the strawberry juice to the glaze mix. Prepare glaze,
following instructions on back of package. (NOTE: If
you have accumulated approximately 1/2 cup of juice
from the strawberries, and the glaze mix requires 1
cup of water, use the 1/2 cup of juice plus 1/2 cup of
water to make 1 cup of liquid.) Pour glaze over
strawberries.

I suppose that keeps it marginally on topic. I never wanted to know what goes on in casa Ballbaby, nevermind at his wedding. Some things should remain unknown to the civilised world. A fluted rim? Fcuking ouch.

I can't believe you actually read the thing :eek: Are things really that slow in the future?

Ballbaby is a fraud, plain and simple. This movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding just goes to prove how unfunny his people really are. It's high time that someone pointed it out, thank you, Fastshow.

I was reading through your post trying to find the joke. Things here in the future (4:15pm as I type) are rather slow. It's Friday afternoon, after all.

When it comes right down to it, Regs old boy, you're the one who typed out one of his bird's fcuking recipes for me. Thanks for that.

As far as a red transparent glaze goes...... how is Buckfast these days? He's all too quiet. Must be plotting something.

This is a movie that can only truly be appreciated after being cut off by the flight attendants on Thai Air while being surrounded by Koreans wondering why the waeguk is laughing so hard.
