Provincial Cup

Found out last night after the Mrs. went to practice that 2 teams dropped out of the provincials. The Mrs. was supposed to play against Victoria Athletics but they dropped out and are now playing Valley United. Also heard another team dropped out and was replaced by Richmond.

What's up with that?
Guess when the sames team get to the finals every year, it get's boring and not worth the trip over from the island for another game.

The Holiday Girls came up on top over Eggy's Birds, 3-2 in the MWSL Final at S. Surrey Athletic today. It was a good game, with the Ex-Burnaby team coached by Jimmy and bro going up 2-0 on a great near post header by Rossy off a KJ corner in the first half. Second half was different with the UBC team coached by Eggy storming back with two goals, both by the wee Asian girls up front, she is quick. The Coquitlam team got the winner with about 20 to go, who knows who scored, UBC did battle to the end, but they could not get any of their chances on target. Congrats to Jimmy on a great first year, on to the B.C.'s now to defend the title against Surrey and UBC.

Saw WAB out at the park scouting for Sap. for next year, but no SC with cooler anywhere.

SC is that you, running a 10k, you must be serious about Co-Ed this year, are the Dragons the new try hards.

As for the cooler, you shut it down early then.

Great set-up today with all the games at one complex, but no quality birds.
