This is a large deal/announcement!

No blackouts apparently either. Deal begins next season so I guess this means DAZN is losing another property in Canada.

The $10m dollar per year question? Will the Caps spend the extra revenue on better players?

I touched on this at the start of the season. A hardcore mls fan would buy the season pass but not even your average fan would.

This deal has to be damaging for teams like the whitecaps as the average fan or observer really loses touch with what is happening with the team. They are going to have to revisit this.

Disclaimer I do get MLS season pass and to be honest I dont like it much. I prefer when TSN was doing it as they really add a Canadian aspect to the broadcast and the pre, halftime and post game analysis is great to watch.

I am also not a fan of apple mandating kickoffs to all be clustered together Saturday between 4:30pm and 7:30pm. It was better when games were spread out and could be watched live. Can't simultaneously watch 6+ soccer matches.

Apple rumoured to be kicking in TV revenue to get Messi to Inter Miami.

Obviously banking on viewership going up...
