Heard that North Shore Coaches League won't run this summer.

What are the current options for a team looking for a 35+ or 30+ age league as close to Vancouver as possible?

We play in the engineers league and games are in. Van. Mix bag of ages but more seasoned vets like ourselves. Haha

Knights league has a masters division. I’m not sure where games are held. Probably burnaby lake and east there of.

Ultra soccer league doesn’t have a masters division but the quality of teams might be the equalizer. Games in Vancouver.

MSA div2 could also be an option. Div1 is more competitive.

Knight League last year had Bari and Europa from the Burnaby League, Eagles (aka Taaj) from Coquitlam, Croatia and us from Vancouver; and Whalley City, Romania, Pylons, Bullets, and Huevos Rancheros from south of the Fraser for Masters' (10 teams in all). The league split us geographically into 2 pools of 5 teams and whoever had the bye on either side would play a friendly against each other.

Pickings have gotten slim for playing over 35 ball in the summer. Hoffman is still trying to get enough teams for his league (Steel and Engineers) to form a masters' division as well, but I don't think the critical mass is there anymore.
