It is hard to believe that Crosby will come back again. Even if he does, the next hit could definitely finish his career.

Instead of watching great hockey players we will be watching big bullies. NHL failed miserably in this case and in many, many cases before.

Sad to be sure, the kid was SO good, and SO fun to watch. Definitely hoping this setback isn't it, but it doesn't look good.

Would be a real shame to see him retire but his health is paramount. Furthermore, he has won it all so terrible as it may be he will always be a hero. Golden goal anyone?

I have always said that Sydney Crosby should have been playing back in the early 90's, and Eric Lindros should have been playing now. Two great players who ended up in the "wrong" era. Eric was built for the NHL of today, Crosby for the Old NHL.

If he got hurt again from that hit against Boston then he will be done. It wasn't a very big hit in my opinion. Too bad as he has crazy talent!
