Anyone played Gold Mountain down in WA? Two courses, Olympic and Cascadia. I played Olympic a couple weeks back. BEST public course I've ever seen. Nicer than most privates.

Over near Bremerton. Take a ferry from Seattle or Everett

Hit Newlands last weekend $35 for 18 and a cart on a Sunday you can't really complain, course was a bit dry but greens were clean. Shot a 94.

Also on the Saturday played a tournament at Fort Langley, finished +2 course is wide open but has some tricky water hazards that are hidden well by the tall grass.

Off to Swan E today for an 11:38 on the resort.

Off tomorrow morning to the interior...Twin Lakes tomorrow, Nk'mip Canyon Sunday, Summerland course Monday and Penticton Golf course Tuesday.....never played those but buddy that lives out there says they're pretty good....anyone play those and what should I expect, other that rain

Only played NkMip a few years back. Desert style course. Miss the fairway and you're in dirt and shrubs but nice undulating fairways and up through the hills. Was in great shape when I played it.

All 4 courses were very enjpyable, but Nk'Mip Canyon was fantastic, both the fairways and greens were in tremendous shape, the best I've seen in a long time anywhere. In fact, the greens on all 4 were great, although I couldn't figure out Penticton 's, really fast and undulating, had 6 three-putts. Shot 95, 92, 91, and 95 so not bad for an old guy. Would definitely recommend Nk'Mip, well worth the trip

Played Redwoods today probably the nicest track I have played locally. Total old growth well maintained fantastic. Best ball finished -3. Definitely looking forward to playing on a sunny day.

Always a good track but pricey if I recall.

$55 weekdays with $70 weekends. Pricey but it was a great course
