No mental illness here....so why should we be listening to these nut jobs??? Why do they even qualify to have a vote? or a say??
Are the people who contribute to global warming by building new pipelines and cutting 500 year old trees stupid? Why do they even qualify to have a say?

Activists are going hard to make a showing these days but that’s more than I would have expected.

Two local Greenies are on a hunger strike, one is in hospital after stopping drinking water. Meanwhile a greenie from Colorado self -immolated in front of the supreme Court in Washington. New tactics from the enviros.

They also tried to shut down the Second Narrows on Thursday, keeping commuters from getting to work and, in one case, a father from getting his sick kid to a medical appointment.

These people are despicable; peaceful protesting has never and will never include the right to hold society hostage until you get your way. They should all have been arrested and charged with a public nuisance.

As for the Darwin award winner, forgive me for not shedding a tear...

It was funny a few days ago watching Tania Visintin between the lines all but warning these clowns as a safety measure that they're going to get their asses kicked by people if they don't watch out....

Patagonia using creative advertising. It needs to sell products but it may be legitimately concerned about climate change.

Patagonia is the worst.
They make essentially zero products from natural goods/fibres. Everything is nylon/rayon/polyester etc... which is derived from Oil and Petroleum Products. Their Fluorinated DWR coatings... what do you think those are derived from? They claim to pay a living wage, but everything they make is in the Communist country of Vietnam. Good on them for using up to (product dependent) 85% recycled materials (THIS should be the future of all manufacturing, but also suffers significant input costs through the upcycling/recycling supply chain)

Virtue signaling to the posh and wealthy crowds in Western Europe and North America that can pay $300 for a rain coat.

When someone can explain to me how taxing the ever living piss out of those that can afford to pay carbon taxes in marginal-polluting countries will affect global climate change when India, China etc continue to be bad actors... I might partake in some of the kool-aid.

until then policies like Carbon Taxes are just higwash brought forward by "Progressive" politicians to keep poor people poor so there are people to vote for their "Progressive" policies.

Global tv ran a story this morning about the heat wave in india, 48 celsius in new dehli. Lots of farm fields are drying up. Not surprising that people want to come here.
