What a game!!!

A story of two halves. The first belonging to us lads from the beach. The second half, well that's a different story. At half time BullyB gathered the troops and they performed the HAKA. One side note, if thrilla in Manilla could finish his three break aways while the All Snacks tried to figure out which end they where defending in the first 15 minutes of the second half the game would have been salted away and a 5-buzz score line wouldn't have been a surprize. He didn't and the boys from the Grove came on strong as the PA legs became weak from all the running on the beach that very morning. Hats off to BullyB, Davie "i ain't no taylor!" , Sean "the wonder boy", Andy "can I go to the game today Honey?" and some blond guy named Alan. , the All Black made a game of it. Loads of beves, lots of fun and Ballbaby I have to agree the league is very competitive this year.

PA 3 / Oldboys 1

.....todays game was a very hard fought battle and like many games in this league both teams had many chances. The Sapperton OldBoys are sporting a few new, younger faces and will give many teams in the league a tough battle. Peewee and Big Jordy up front where definately a handful for the PA defense.

The first half was dominated by PA. A great free kick from Rabbit (not to be mistaken for sillyrabbit) scored a blinder of a free kick to put the OldBoys on their backs early. A second goal early in the second half almost broke the Oldboys backs. Big Jordy scored a very nice goal midway through the second half, which gave the Oldboys some life and legs. Shortly after, PA's very own "thrilla in minilla" , scored a third to salt the game away.

A very nice day to bevy it up at the park and enjoy the company of all the PA lads.

First win with many to follow

Allblacks barely fielded 11 today to face a much-improved Celtic.
A good game that sported a few flare-ups as tempers erupted towards the end. Allblacks played some very nice footy and are looking forward to putting a few more points on the board.

My prediction is top 4 come closing time, and one last thing PCPlod, "At least we're not run by the French!"
