Fraser Valley Knight League

So who all is in this league this year?

I heard the league has a some more teams this year then last. So maybe it is up to 10 teams, I beleive there were 8 last year.

Our first game is this thursday against Sikh Temple. Anyone know where they played winter? I think it was div.1 VMSL. Don't know for sure though.

The usual suspects with two new additions I'm hearing.

Doesn't matter anyway.

Rangers to take all the spoils as usual.

:D

Ranger,

Will this the the usual "Rangers Ford FC" team, roster of 58?

Good times last year- always fun playing the Rangers.

Horrible game played by a patchwork Temple squad. We should be much better when our U-21's become available.

Yes Rangers Ford FC's aging depthchart will be available for regular humbling this year by all you young whipper snappers.
Our floating squad of 57 (of the Heinz variety) played our first match o' the season last night against Aldergrove.

Rangers 2 Aldergrove 0

Awesome weather to play the game on NAP turf.
Peter Porn Star in the back for Aldergrove did his usual whacking coming so deadly close to having his head ripped off as usual, but other than that a good match.

Davie Sherle saving our bacon (The lad will be wickedly fit by season's end with our swiss cheese summer play) :D along with TTPs own Pump_it_up destroying their left side at about 70 minutes and blasting the opening goal and setting up numerous chances thereafter along with the second to seal it for us.

I think that's our first opening game win in fcuking years.

Looking forward to it boys.

Any other results?

Cainy & Company:

The Rangers think that it might be a good idea to postpone our match this week.
After last night's drubbing, the Canucks may have to play Game 7 Thursday night.
We're suggesting a boat race at Kelly O'Bryan's insted, which is more suited for our level of fitness right now. :D

PS - Our postponement request has nothing to do with the fact that you're in top shape at the moment, you just came off an incredible performance on the weekend, you're still smarting from the Pak ;), and you're fired up as all fcuk right now.
Nothing at all to do with it.

Let us know and best regards,

Mindgamesforever

Cheers Balsa - looking forward to Seattle baby.

rangers vs. pau

RF, I think a number of the boys wouldn't mind the week off after the OT. I'm not sure about your bad karma on the need for a game 7 though:rolleyes: I'll pass the word along.

Bail FC

PAU lads:

We just cancelled.
Put in the call to Andy - we can't field a team.
This is why I threw it out to you guys, I knew this would happen if the Canucks lost last night.
Phone calls coming in by the droves.
Some guys think watching the game tonight is more important than football.

Sorry in advance,
RF

Don't shoot the messenger - I was one of 8 confirmed in.

Steamroll FC

I have to admit, PAU looks stacked everyone.

They've got everyone back from the winter by all accounts with Peter Hjorth and Clayton Dobbin from SU added to the list.

Also, it looks like Friedbread is back (Good show) and the Red Dragon looked to be on the mend (Even better show).

Fcukers.

 :D

Nice break from action for PAU. What did you guys get, about one week off?

Aldergrove 3 Lions 2

What a shite game!
What a shite field!
I don't know if anyone has played out there yet but it was a shite field, hard as a rock and really small too., pot holes everywhere and had roles like a golf course.( a nice mix of Hannon park and Delview park, but probably even worse)

One of our top guys got injured and popped his knee by landing in one of these potholes in the first half. Know one around him or anything. Be careful out there. It is pretty depressing seeing as we have provincial cup in 2.5 weeks and we lose a guy like that.

The positive is that we don't have to drive out to the grove to play again.

Anyways, shite field/shite game.
thats all.
