Nazareth too far down the list, and Gerry Rafferty needs to be on there somewhere. Never that excited about Belle and Sebastian (okay to listen to, but best ever from Scotland? Not by half) either....

Way way back with the "First Up Against the Wall" idea - a few more thoughts:

1) Leonard Cohen. If he's not dead yet, he should be. The man is a travesty.

2) Celine Dion. Speaking of travesties... Let the You-Alls keep her in Vegas. Please....

3) Michael Bolton. The ultimate song butcher.

4) Ashlee Simpson. Not as much of an issue, since she's actually taken herself out with her second lipsynching farce in less than a year. More pathetic than anything else. La-la indeed...

5) Jessica Simpson. I could look at her all day, but would somebody please turn off the volume?
