Did anyone see the article in the paper the other day about Sergei yapping about playing pro soccer for a year?

Perhaps the Whitecaps should look into this? Didn't Jovo and Bert play soccer growing up? I'd pay to see that. Enough of this Ollie or Daily shite

Saw the article and was shocked how a guy who's dad played pro soccer turns into a pro hockey player. Obvioulsy a natural athlete and could pick up any sport right away.
As for the choices:

Jovo would make a great rushing defenseman joining the play late to score goals.
Bertuzzi wouldn't get much playing time because of the numerous cards he'd get for yappping at the ref.
I've seen one of the sisters play in Surrey actually, and i think anyone else who's seen him would agree, a soccer player he's not.
Brian Burke would be a great keeper i think, or a bruising sweeper.
