Young winger eyes Russian leagueST. PAUL, Minn. -- Left wing Stephane Veilleux has rejected the
Minnesota Wild's offer to play in their American Hockey League
affiliate this season. Unsatisfied with $55,000 in AHL money on the table, Veilleux
told the St. Paul Pioneer Press on Monday he is weighing more
lucrative offers from at least three teams in Russia and expects to
sign a deal by the end of the week. Veilleux's agent, Paul Corbeil, wasn't immediately available to
comment Tuesday....
