Actually not a single player from the prem team is on the team. The group has been together for awhile now and just really work for one another. All positive attitudes and have fun playing the game. It’s the speed that kills, they have a lot of very fast fit guys.

Very true, lighting’s oldest guy is 33 and a lot in their mid 20’s.

Both teams traded spurts of possession in the first half with a lot of play in the middle third. We scored in the 20th on a corner kick with a seeing eye shot. In the 35th our striker took the ball down at half and had his way through the defense before slipping it past the keeper to make it 2-0 at half.

Temples first goal of the second half was well hit directly off the corner kick and found the back of the net. Our keeper would love that one back. Temple pressed after that but it opened up the the middle of the park after we forced turnovers. Their keeper made a brilliant save on a header with eyes for the top corner. But soon offer our midfielder buried a worldie from 30 to put the game away. He finished his second of the game soon after on a 2v1. Referee gave Temple a soft PK in the 88th which may have been a makeup call.

By far our worst game all season, guys showed up 10 minutes before no warm up and you could clearly tell in the first half. Dynamo quite good on the long ball team, they have lots of height n size caused us troubles all game. We had a few more then 4 shots but nothing of great quality. We got 2 goals off great strikes from our striker. Dynamo got a deflection goal... and a bouncing around the box header... granted they had more chances and more of the ball but there goals were Nothing to be proud of. Onto Red Devils next week, have to play like we did the previous games If we are to win next week.

Mission 2-2 Blue Devils

First half they dominated us, scoring about 10 in, and having chances to add more that hey didn’t take. We had little in attack that threatened them throughout the first, but managed to head home a corner around the 30th. Unfair on then that they weren’t leading, but probably 5 minutes from half our ex CB unleashed an absolute beauty from about 35 yards into our top corner to give them a deserted lead at half time.

2nd half was a very different tail, they were struggling to get out of their half. We hit a post, few close efforts just of target, and their keeper made a few saves, but we just couldn’t find a way to level the game up. Basically the only time they managed to get into our penalty area in the 2nd half they should have been awarded a penalty. No doubt, and not one of our guys would have complained had it been given. Massive let off for us, and we just kept pushing. Late on we managed to swing a free kick into the box, scrambled around, went through their keeps legs and then somehow ended up being cleared off the line by their CB after looking like it was a for sure goal. At this point it felt as though we was going to be on the end of back to back losses. Last minute of the game our winger took a shot, and I just decided to gamble on the possibility of a rebound, and luckily for us I was able to just get my head onto the wide bound shot and redirect it pat their keeper who had no chance as he was going the way of the original shot.

Hard to say if we actually deserved to tie the game based on the penalty call that never was but we for sure out played them in the second half. Another tough 2A battle next week against the Knights who are unbeaten in 4 games I believe.
