We should get out of the group.

City got a plum draw.

If there were a Group of Death here, would you say Group F?

Van Dijk player of the year? Give me a break. Don't get me wrong, he had an excellent season and won Champions League but Messi scored 50 goals and won La Liga. Cristiano won Serie A, Coppa and Nations League.

According to UEFA, the award "recognise's the best player, irrespective of his nationality, playing for a football club within the territory of a UEFA member association during the previous season."[2] Players are judged by their performances in all competitions, domestic and international, and at club and national team levels throughout the season. "

It wasn't even close

Has a defender ever won it before? Although he was a total stand out for Liverpool, to me it is hard to compare vs. someone who scored 50 goals. And, to prove this year's rankings are odd, Nancy (as he's called to his team mates) a.k.a. Alisson comes in 4th?

LOL Tottenham...those last few goals were great finishes but my goodness the inept defending to give the ball away each time was astonishing. You could tell by the end that those players just did not want to be there at all. They've got pretty big problems in North London at the moment.

Nice to see Red Star Belgrade and Milan Borjan comeback for the win against Olimpiakos in that group as well. That being said, that was an incredibly soft second yellow for the Olympiakos player at 1-0 up to change the game entirely.

Did anyone else catch this celebration? Reminds me of my rugby friends who are always trying to grab at each other. WTF, Jorginho? But it looks like Batshuay sort of liked it.

Did anyone watch the Chelsea vs Ajax game yesterday? The most entertaining and surprising game I have seen this season
