So why is everyone saying that Torres saved the day with his game winning goal (the Golden Goal)? Ramires got the winning goal, the stunner, the game changer. Torres got a goal because Barca was doing an 11 man rush on goal in the dying seconds and left him all alone. I hate to say it, but I think I would have had a 50% chance of scoring on that slow jog of a brake away.

Who is saying he saved the day? Would Drogba of had the legs to do that after the shift he put in? Torres came on, and sealed the deal, end of. It might not of been the greatest goal ever scored, but it sealed Barcas fate, regardless of them pushing for an equalizer late on. Good on him.

Very true. At the end of the day, Chelsea put it all out there, defended with their hearts, got some luck and frustrated Barca. good for Torres to finish it off. He has had a tough year.
