did anyone see Owen's celebration?

I love San Fran and especially the competitive and cokcy ways of Terrell Owens.

After scoring his second TD of the game, he pulls a pen out of his sock, autographs the football he just scored with and hands it to a fan sitting in the Shawn Springs (cornerback who was covering him) fan box / section.

One of the most unique celebrations I've seen since his actions in the Dallas Cowboys game last year. Really, who puts a pen in their sock?

This guy is in his own world!! but To do that takes a lot of confidence, not that T.O. is short in that area. He had to think of doing this early in the week and then to actually do it crazy!! San Fran's march to the Superbowl has began!!

I liked it. Generally I don't like the show that Owens puts on but that was classic, it was original. I couldn't tell what he was doing but then the replay made it pretty clear what he was doing. It was a great catch too. I like the irony that he burns Springs and then hands the ball to someone in his box.

Yah, I lost AGAIN. As for the autographed ball, I thought it was tremendous. I'm not into that sort of stuff usually but this was a classic moment. I wonder what he had in his other sock.......

supposedly, it was a friend of Owens / Springs that they both new. Before the game, the friend told Owens that if he scored a TD on that side of the field (where the dog pound was), to give him the ball. Owens went one step further. In the third quarter, asked the trainer to get him a pen, cause he said he knew he was going to score on Springs that quarter. Confidence, for sure, but as Madden put it "is it for the good of the team or for personal statistical reasons?" Tonight, it was the game winning TD, so I guess it was for the good of the 49ers.

Had me laughing for the rest of the game though.
