Well that sucked the air outta the weekend.

It does, but to me this has all been gravy. Vegas is simply way deeper and stronger. Give the Canucks another two years.

Yeah, they do right now. But...this is why the Stanley Cup playoffs are so good. That can change with just a couple of injuries or suspension, and injuries to players that normally nobody would see as key players. Think of Aaron Rome, and how much his suspension changed the Bruins / Canucks. Who'd have thunk that? Many more great examples over the years of favorite teams being knocked out over a 7 game series through unimaginable circumstances. Still to me, the hardest championship to win in sports.

The 'Nucks coming out of this is looking slim and none, with slim having left town...but what if they can somehow win the next game, maybe 2? Then all of a sudden a shift in momentum. Or even, it goes 7, Vegas dispatches the 'Nucks, but it costs them a couple of players to critical injuries...all of a sudden, they aren't so deep for the next round.

No matter what happens here, fcuking love the Stanley Cup playoffs, and so glad we are able to get something out of this season in a fcuked up year.
