Well, it looks like there's 6 apna teams. There's a team called Royal United in Div 2A that has an apna as a contact. Never heard of him. Anybody have any scoop on these teams?

To answer your question Royal Utd is Akal's Div 2 team. We were their under 21 team in the punjabi tournaments playing in the B division. We also have about 4 senior players playing with us from the Div 1 team. We had an ok but slow start to the season with a victory and a tie. We are a skillful team but still have a few minor adjustments to repair in our finishing. We should do Ok this year but were not expected to finish 1st or 2nd. We are a new team and we are still feeling each others touches on the field and gellying together.

The website doesn't exist anymore. The Ross tourny is safe to say that it will be on the Victoria Day long weekend. But, does anybody have the exact date of the Harjit Brar Memorial?

Generally, does anyone know which tourney's allow imports, and which do not? Does that depend on a year to year basis, or is it always the same?

usually harjeet brar tourney is second weekend of june...june 10/11 this year.

the pummi uppal is july long weekend...i think.

as for imports, i think that is up to the team hosting the tourney. 2004 they were allowed. 2005 they were not. I have a feeling they will NOT be allowed again this year.

fiji's are not considered imports as they are of indian heritage so a team can have unlimited island boys.
