FV Div 2 beat Westcoast United Div 1, 3-2 last night
Sparta 2 - 1 Burnaby Firefighters. Pretty much played like Atletico Madrid, just sit back and absorb, except much much worse. They had all the possession but we scored the winner on a counter attack, actual more like a bad mental lapse. Their defender let a goalie punt bounce then for some reason tried to head it back to his keeper from 35 yards out. Literally could've made any other play and it would've been better. Our guy ran on and scored on the half volley, the goalie being left in no man's land. Both teams exchanged quality chances, but the Great Wall of Sparta never broke.

Langley dynamo 4 ND 1What happened in the semi against ND and Sparta @ZidaneFan?
Anyway 1-0 for ND at half, their goalie saved a Pk and each team traded chances. 15 into second half we finally score one then another. Buried a few more in the last few minutes.
Great comeback for us and a great way to end a season of ups and downs. Beer always tastes better out of a cup
