can't see them paying two coaches at once... sort of goes against their business model... besides, the team is clearly going nowhere this year (Schuster predicted as much last year which was a wild admission but here we are), so why bother? Let him go down with the ship and then haul it up from the ocean floor in the off-season.Global aired an interview with shuster today, and shuster was non committal, but he did not say MDS is doing a good job.
….for the first time since maybe early days of the '86ers, I completely checked out on the Caps. Even in the past, when I've said that I'm out, I'm always still a bit in, checking up if I deliberately miss a match. This one? Totally forgot, and no attempt to PVR.For those looking to torture yourselves... game day vs LA Galaxy.
If/when they lose, does MDS get the hook? How would that even work out, I mean they would have to replace him internally, no?
Knowing this fcuked up club, they would announce the replacement being a player coach: Ali Adnan.
Not until he triples the number of backwards passes.Nice turnover by Baldy on the first goal. He will get the captain Arm band from tiebart and a 400k salary if he keeps this up.
Yesterday, I was really only impressed w/ Dahome.
Jo eat a bag of dicks, would yah? Cut an old guy a break. More and more I feel like I’m jablind writing on this jucking iPhone. It's Dajome.
But you got it right phonetically.
And yes, I've mentioned before he is the one thing in this organization I rate right now.
He's intense and hungry, and I like that.
Baldy also cost a goal last game when he didnt pick up his mark. Had this been the first time for sure but two games in a row and two goals both the result of him.
He just doesnt seem to have the fitness to play at this level.
At younger ages being able to to hit long balls and switch the play works and looks great and can mask other issues.
Pro level is different as guys can exploit your weakness and its pretty obvious he doesnt have the soccer IQ or fitness to play the position he does. Putting a guy in the middle of the park that cant dribble out of pressure just doesn't make any sense to me.
Even in our local leagues we all know your center mid has to be the pressure release valve and work his tail off. Show for the ball and be the link between the back line and strikers.
I have never seen him come back for the ball, turn and dribble up the field giving time for the back line to get up the field.
When he gets the ball if his back is to the other goal he touches it wide or just turns and hits a long diagonal ball.
That's a great skill to have but you also need to be able to move with the ball at your feet.
Once MLS teams know that's all you have your days are numbered and you saw it with the first goal.
Who’s Baldi developing from? You need to be around better players then yourself day in and day out to raise your level. Who’s he learning from, who’s telling him what his deficiencies are and how to improve?
Look at Davies, yes he was good for the Caps but he was still a very raw talented athlete. His development has exploded at Bayern working with world class players and coaches. I don’t see a lot of development at the Caps. Players are what they are. Tiebert hasn’t changed a lick.
