Dude, you seem to have read into my comments that I'm doubting her allegations against Nassar. I'm not remotely doubting anything she or any of the other victims said about him. He's where he belongs.
I don't doubt that she has ongoing trauma from it. I don't doubt that she has other anxieties and issues and challenges. And I agree that we as a society need to do a better job of giving people fighting through such issues a wide berth and/or proper support.
My quarrel with her is precise; I don't believe that her issues are why she pulled out. I believe she couldn't accept anything less than being the best, and concocted a variety of excuses to rationalize why, for the first time, she wasn't the best.
