I thought it was soft for what could have been the deciding goal in the final but having said that, how high does her foot have to be to be considered a high kick/foot? As small as they are, she basically kicked her in the tit.

I really dislike the US team but it's a penalty in the VAR age. The challenge was unnecessary and clumsy. Morgan, whom my brain and my dick are at war with(Seinfeld reference), is looking for the contact hoping for a foul. She closes her eyes and the ball hits her on the side of the hip FFS...great technique.(sarcasm)
Only on TTP can you have this and Freddy’s comments and get the likes. God bless.

Hard to like the Americans but don’t most top teams have that arrogance about them. It’s weird on women, hard to get used to. In Society we hate others success and find ways to knock them down a peg. That’s right you’re a loser just like me. Best team by far I thought and they seem to really like each other. I’ve always hated the sports platform for political/religious stuff but that’s probably my own issue.

I think it's unprofessional for the staff to allow players to be seen drunk whilst boarding a plane.
There's a time & place for celebrations.
When we played England in 1986, before going to the World Cup in Mexico. Bobby Robson wouldn't allow the players, or staff to have any alcohol at the post game gathering.
Even at the Hotel, nobody allowed to be in the bar.
Bob McNab & I went to meet Peter Beardsley & Don Howe (Coach).
They could only meet us in coffee shop.
They told us that players had drinks in their rooms only & as much as they wanted (within reason).
Bobby Robson told us that players had to be seen to be "Professional", & could not give reporters a chance to photograph them with any alcoholic drink.
That's how I think it should be.

I don't like them because they're not likeable. Not because they are a top team. Lots of top teams I like and can respect. The whole tea sipping celebration...not really a big deal but the fans and people aren't stupid and Morgan tries to make us all look stupid by saying the tea sipping was in hommage to Game of Thrones. Bitch please, you scored 5 goals prior in the World Cup and no tea sipping celebration. It was a slight to the English. Clear and simple.

They also pumped 13 goals vs an inferior opponent and had a justification for each and every goal and celebration. Seriously.
You think Germany would have escaped the Brazil game if they tried to score double digits in 2014?!?!

They are indeed World Champions. Best team by far? Did you watch the Spain, France or England games? If you take VAR out of those games, then those games are a lot closer! The states were better but not by var(lol). I'd say the final was their easiest game after the group stage.

I don’t disagree with what you guys are saying and on a national team yah it’s different, you’re representing a country. The team should be held to a higher standard.
With that I agree with you Jigsaw.

I guess you missed Ovechkins drunken tour with the boys or every changeroom champagne riddled celebration for baseball etc. The Canadian bobsled guy who crushes a pitcher of beer after his medal. The guys you mentioned never won a World Cup did they? I think it’s ok for people to let go sometimes. No it doesn’t look great especially for young girls looking up to them but let them enjoy it. Don’t be so bloody uptight. Sound like an old white person. I’m white before you leeches jump all over me.

Maybe Canada never won a World Cup, but Germany,France,Italy have & you don't see them parading around drunk.
I've no doubt that all World Cup Winners on the Men's side celebrate & get absolutely hammered, but their organizations would not allow them to be seen in such a sorry state. They're more professional. It say's a lot about the Staff, who turn a blind eye to their behavior.
I wouldn't compare Football to Hockey, or Baseball, which is North American, football is worldwide.
I'm not uptight.
I might be tight, oh hang on though, I'm a Geordie, not Scottish, so I guess I'm not tight after all Goeordies are known to be very generous.

I love the celebrations. Be hammered all you want. I understand the whole role model thing but you gotta let loose and enjoy. To win a World Cup must be an unmatched feeling of jubilation. The Italians in fact were hammered on their return home to Italy. I still remember seeing how Cannavaro and De Rossi completely shittered. However, I just can't stand the Yanks so F 'em. He he he

And just what the hell did I say that could be construed as off side?
You mentioned that you watched holland-sweden in slow motion, as if there was any other way (stating the obvious).
