A shame the way the tourney is set up that has to play out as a goal scoring competition, but not sure if there is a way around it. We knew once we couldn't put Alberta away on Saturday that it would require goals. Kudos to both Saskatchewan and Manitoba as both teams didn't throw in the towel and made both us and Alberta work our assess off to score the goals. Just crazy out there as we fell behind on +/- but somehow managed to score three late ones to seal the deal. Another clean sheet for the legend Wicks and some timely goals from a number of veterans like DB, Chiasson, Simon, Nuke and Pettingale. Everyone got on the park and played a role. We are the Westside!

Body aching, sick from most likely drinking out of that trophy that didn't look like it had been cleaned since last year
Format is dodgy for sure and would love to see a final played but it is what it is and won't ever forget being part of that game yesterday. As Smallstuff said, some key goals at important times to keep the belief and once again, very proud to be a part of our aging mob which is full of lads that just know how to win and find a way.

The women played a proper final, but it meant taking an additional day off of work for matches (Thursday).
