Alright…how about some predictions:

PoCo (prem) v Croatia Stallions (1) - blowout for PoCo
Lomas (1) v Norvan (1) - tight game! Nice soft draw for these two I like the Lomas in OT…sorry Mick and Bonefish
West Van (prem) v Shaheen (prem) - another one-sided affair with WV winning
Metro Ford (prem) v Romania (prem) - Romania
PCOV (prem) v Croatia (prem) - PCOV in OT
Falconetti's (1) v Flying Horses (1) - Falconetti's can score goals and that may be the difference. 2-1
Westside (prem) v Burnaby (1) - easy game for Westside. 6-0
VUFC (1) v Columbus (prem) - hard to know in this one. Columbus has the ability to field a very good team at cup time and we come with the same boys every week. Tight game.

Classic scene Sir M!!!! We will be missing a few lads this weekend - a few guys have to remain in Phoenix for a few extra days - something to with the law.

We have had 2 tough matches against Eastside this year so will not expect anything less.

I will only be there for kick off as Gord Downie as invited me as a special guest to his show at Rogers Arena. It is called pay back!!

Mild mannered affair. Not much to report. They did ring one off the post once. Other than that it was a formality

Reports this morning have Hell freezing over, pigs flying around town, and Shaheen beating West Van 3-2

Big win for Shaheen.

And yes, 5-1 Columbus over VUFC. We scored early off a set piece and the ref called it offside. We then missed a sitter. And then we let Columbus score as they sent a guy through the middle on a good run and nobody picked him up. And then for the next 15 minutes we watched as Columbus struck for 3 more (2 off corners I believe) and we didn't have any bite or effort. 4-0 at half so the game's over.

Columbus completely won the centre of the park. We've been strong all year in the middle but not on Friday night. Good luck to them in the cup.

Soft draw for both is right. Hopefully both teams put up a good fight to see who earns the right to get thumped by Poco next week
