PCSL doesn't have a spot in the A cup, they've relinquished it. The VISL got it...

I believe the way it works is the Fighting Irish win gives the BBY League an extra allocation this year, but does not guarantee the Irish themselves entry. It's up to each league to determine who fills the spots they've been allocated.

Seems reasonable, as last year a mid-table PCSL team ended up taking the spot when everyone above them declined.

U21 - VMSL (Guildford FC)
Masters - VMSL (PoCo Castillians)
B - BBY League (Fighting Irish)

4 teams from RSSL, only 6 teams in their top division. lol
Top two teams are usually good tho.

What happened to teams from PG and the interior over the years? They have no interest anymore?

@machel I heard some of those interior leagues are not signed with BC Soccer any longer, and thus do not qualify for the provincials.

There are a few leagues like that around the province that have decent mens leagues, but avoid the BC soccer costs.

Even in the lower mainland the Abbotsford Mens Soccer League comes to mind as a good example. www.abbymsl.com

the Croats are not out. Only the Imperial cup winner gets in meaning Chile has to win Imperial to qualify then Croatia is out. Otherwise the game against CCB is very important Croatia has to win in order to get a playoff against Chile.

Anyone know why the last Mens B spot is undecided? Snipers have a 5 point lead, and Gastown only has 1 game left to play.

Since when does B cup have seeded teams??? 2015?

Does it seem a bit backwards that the 2 Divisional winners for the A & B side aren't seeded, and only the Cup Champion gets such a privilege? Perhaps it's just me, usually is...

I would imagine that it has to do with how many 'seedings' are available for the draw and that the VMSL only has 1 of them... the only other way in this case would be to have a playoff off game to crown a single VMSL Div 2 Champion (which they should do anyways as it would be a meaningful game to help the 2 div 2 teams prep for provincials)

It's irrelevant this year. Guildford are by far the best Div 2 team. They finished the league undefeated, and are going to win the cup final easy on Sunday.

How many subs are you allowed to use in the B cup? I think in Richmond and Burnaby we have unlimited subs where as VMSL has 5 subs.
