I just realized we'll be playing next Sunday regardless who wins this week. Superbowl Sunday or a cup game..... I wonder how many youth call ups are allowed for cup games.....:rolleyes

Wru vault vs north coquitlam.. 2-0 for us!
We plotted two In the first half an neve really took our foot off the pedal. 1 off a corner kick and 1 on a sweet passing number into a break away. They are a good squad, not half bad at all. But they had 1 sub and they played hard for full 90, but with our subs and good fitness is showed in the second half. On to the next round, good luck all!

We withdrew. Injuries and work commitments would have put us short. With it being on a Saturday night in Port Moody we decided to withdraw. No forfeit as we aren't forced to be in cup.

I was unable to make it due to family commitments, but I hear we dominated from start to finish. We only had 11 guys, but controlled the game throughout. Should have been more than 3 and a clean sheet, but with no bench and key guys missing we will take it.

Still alive in both cups, and on to the next round.

Not really the way it went either. And there was no "bad blood", only players getting annoyed at the hack job you guys had running around.

Coastal highlanders (div 2) v nd titans (d3)
Cloverdale fc (d3) v wc knights (d2)
Fvrd B (d3) v SFC coyotes (d2)
Fc Sparta (d3) v SFC Lakeba (d4)

I've seen the fvrd B team play n they have some good players so our match should be very good. If not motw then the Sparta v Lakeba game is motw.

their only goal came off a shot that hit our centre back in the hip and the red called a pk.... Oh well, on to next round!

CFC Highlanders 3 ND Titans 0

Our old nemesis goal scoring came back to bite us. We dominated this game from start to finish. They had their moments but it was clear to all who watched that we were the better team. Unfortunately, we missed some glorious chances early on and then they scored two midway through the first to take the lead. The first seemed to be a result of a missed foul, while the second was offside (albeit a close call). The third came in the last 30 seconds with our goalie up in their box! We finished the game with 20+ shots (many from 12 yards or less, but right at the keeper...or great saves) to their 4 or 5.

It's really frustrating to go out when we were the better team on the night. But credit to CFC on burying their chances when they got them.

At least we are still alive in Bradner Cup. Good luck to everyone else in the Pres.

Fvrd 1 - 2 coyotes . Pks. We didnt play well and fvrd did. They went up 1 in the middle of first half off a nice individual play. Early in the we second half their striker was given marching orders for a wreckless tackle on our keeper. We kept the ball in their half couldn't score and were limited to shots from 35+. We left it till late and were rewarded/lucky in the 89th on a strike from ~35 yds which had eyes for the corner. Went to pks and won. Next week onto Port Moody for another big match at the old cement patch.

Are you referring to Port Moody turf as the old cement patch? Field is not nearly the cement patch of old.
