Hmm. I see for instance that Caspian (3rd place in div 2A) are playing Norvan (7th place in div 2A). But maybe they were below 4th when the draw happened.

By the way, is the cup draw completely random? In the preliminary round you have div 2 vs div 2 matchups as well as div 3 vs div 3 matchups.

Of course Romania or Rinos should take the promotion if they get it. They both have twice as many points as #3 in their division, so when speaking of "rocking div 2" they are doing just that. And yes, the jump from div 2 to div 1 is a big one. But that doesn't mean it's a bad thing.

GFC went from being destined for relegation to winning 5 straight, including a win against the #1 team who had everything to lose. How many ringers did you guys get? :)

My understanding was the bottom 3 from each div 2 group go down. Then we'll have 2xdiv2 and 3xdiv3 next year..? Really something that could be presented easily on VMSL's amazing website.

Are we looking at 1 team promoted and 3 teams relegated from each group this year? We've past the 1/3 mark of the season. Who do you see moving up to div 1? Any potential upsets?

Won't this only make it worse for newly started strong teams that are div 1/2 caliber but have to start at the bottom div and move up? From my experience, these are the teams that usually cause the big blow-ups.
