Provincial berths in premier are still up for grabs. Top 3 teams receiving automatic berth.
Poco 41 points 3 games remaining vs Mission, WRU, South Delta. Max = 50 points
WRU 36 points 2 games remaining vs NDA, Poco. Max = 42 points
PA Dragons 32 points 2 games remaining vs PAU, Abby...
Say what you will Sid. We have been fortunate with our club system to use guys like Ron and Taco when we need them. We would only have had 9 players last weekend without them and they both played great. Kirby and Fat Monkey played for us on two other occasions and they were brilliant as well...
Re: [FVSL MASTERS] Results and Banter Sept/Oct 2010
I think Jack The Lad would rather play with Bored any day of the week. The guy does all of Jackie's work for him and Jackie just takes the glory.
Re: [FVSL MASTERS] Results and Banter Sept/Oct 2010
I would assume Castilians and Dragons will do their best to bring out their best teams. Dragons are pulling in a couple of out of towners to play and a few of the PAU premier players as well. Castilians will be in tough sporting a few...
Re: [FVSL MASTERS] Results and Banter Sept/Oct 2010
WAB,
Rumour has it that FVSL will get 4 births this year and VMSL with 5.
Sid, go smoke some more drugs. You couldn't polish the Watchman's boots.
Re: [FVSL MASTERS] Results and Banter Sept/Oct 2010
Sidney,
Apparently Jtl's father is no longer the coach of this Castilian squad. He's moved to a small island somewhere off the coast. I think he only lost one game in his tenure as coach. I watched that game and it was against...
Re: [FVSL MASTERS] Results and Banter Sept/Oct 2010
Website says NDA 2 Castilians 1. Big upset, that changes everything. White Rock now looking like the early favourites pulling away a bit.:wa:
Re: [FVSL Masters] Results & Banter February 2010
Sir M, I know a lot of the players on this Poco side. Some words I would use to sum them up are: Fitness, Youth, Direct, Potent, Stingy, Cohesive, Talented, Lethal, and Pungent on the one side.
The Coachmen are very good but also very old. If their old bones can handle the tournament they may do ok. With pickups allowed a lot of teams may be quite a bit better than their regular season form.
Re: 2007 Keith Miller Cup
Tuna, I wouldn't count the Coachmen out. They are 19-0 and have scored around 90 goals including cup games. I watched them play a young very fit Port Moody team a few weeks back and they were outhussled, mostly outplayed but they still won 2-0 and it should have...
Coachmen over N. Coquitlam. I don't think this will be much of a contest.
ACBC vs Arsenal. This is a very good matchup and could go either way. There will be a preview of this game this weekend in the form of a make up game. I'll take ACBC in penals.
I spoke with one of the Coachmen this morning and apparently they took a vote after training Tues. night and they are moving to Div. 1 next year without question. They are adding 2 or 3 more premier players and will be even better next year. A few of the guys aren't enjoying themselves in Div...
Nationals vs Stars - Nats
GEU Miners vs North Coq. - North C.
Ald Utd. vs ACBC - close one but Ald Utd.
Coq. City vs Westcoast - Coq.
Surrey Coyotes vs Royals/Arsenal - Arsenal to win both
Magpies vs Mission - Magpies
Surrey Heat vs Langley Chaos - no clue lets go with Heat
Poco...
Was at the DFC game today and they were terrible. Weak in the back, terrible up front and lazy in the midfield. I know a few guys on the team and they said they will only have 8, maybe 9 for next weeks cup game. Could be a blowout.
Side note - DFC goalie received 12 stitches after sliding at...
