So we played the Lightning today, and im sad to say the game turned out to be just an exhibition due to our time change we were unable to get a referee.. w/ all the refs in the leauge..i just dont understand how things get...

Crossed fingers here, the rain apparently is not going to let up until monday?? So lets hope no games get cancelled because a Sunday just isnt the same w/o a soccer game! ok so my predictions are as follows..

very well said, i also believe that both teams played a strong game, i love competitive matches, but it stops being fun when the cards start flying & players get hurt. So may your players heal fast cowgirls, and i wish you the best of luck this season, you have a great team, good luck!:)

I was in pretty much the same position as the referee was, i heard some back and fourth talk between our players and theirs, which is not unusual in a soccer match. I did however see how #6 of the cows was not going to let down, she pushed and pushed. In all honesty soccer should never reach...
game was not abandoned, less than 10 seconds left, when one of the cows started heckling a few of our players, and things got a bit physical, so our player did what she had to do. Pretty much what any of us would do when put in a situation like that. The pitt players actions were uncalled for...
Burnaby Shock 4 - Pitt Cowgirls 2, was a very strong & physical game for both teams, but the best team always comes out on top! i can see people might be a little hesitant to write considering what went on today. Hopefully the cows will be a little more mature when the next match rolls around...
