Canes are going to be dangerous as is Colorado. Their trade deadline moves are very shrewd.
I think the nucks will get muscled. Adding a Lawson Crouse or Zucker would help offset that.
Rather than constant expansion, why couldn't they just implement a promotion/relegation with Division 1? Don't clubs have Division 1 or affiliation with Div 1 teams?

- draft good / not great players that we will eventually trade away for 'not draft picks'
- because why ruin a below average team making above average revenue.
That's not a bad strategy, give the bottom feeding teams W's so hopefully it pushes them up the rankings.
