Whenever we lose a soccer legend it is always worthy of some form of recognition here on TTP.
Before my time, though many stories told to me by my father about the great Hungarian and Real Madrid legend, it is always sad when you hear this sort of news.
Not sure if anybody is old enough on...
Our former manager John Lyall has passed away at the age of 66.
John helped us to win two FA Cups in 75' and 80'.
Losing Greenwood and Lyall in the space of a couple of months is uncanny. Hopefully they will be looking down on the boys this weekend in the semi's.
RIP

How good was that this morning to get up and watch England v. Wales. Thank you Sportsnet.
England in full command today against a Welsh team that had its moments but also drifted out of the game badly for long spells. This could of easily been six nothing if Owen or Rooney would of buried...
Very sad day indeed for football as we say goodbye to Brian Clough. One of the most controversial yet inspirational managers I have ever seen.
God bless.
Wasn't sure where to post this but it's a cracker that some of you may have heard before. I got this from a former Rangers player I met this summer.;
To set the scene, Shanks is giving his team speach just prior to kick off in Liverpools dressing room at Old Trafford before playing...

For all you followers of the English Premiership and football in general, check out this website www.knightbillnick.co.uk. I'd like to hear some of your thoughts and comments about this issue. ( For those of us that are old enough to remember him.) ;)
Cheers
Sorry lads, need a new thread here due to some unfortunate relegation issues at the end of last season. I almost posted in the existing Premiership thread but realized how my fellow TTP'ers would be posting subtle reminders about the Hammers with some serious piss taking.
Anyway, hopefully...
Premier - 2003 / 2004
Just wanted to see what you lads thought about the new ten (10) team Premier league as compared to the eight (8) team format last season.
Even though we get two additional teams, we actually will play three (3) games less. Is that good or bad...?
With the two (2)...
Fvsl All Stars
I was asked last week by the League again, to put another team together for a game against the Chinese Nationals. Right now we are scheduled for the first or second Saturday at 2.00PM in May ( to be confirmed ) at Swanguard.
I am just waiting for the official nod from their...
IT'S OVER !
Even I have had enough of this Poco PAU bullshit. Let it go, it's over.
Which 4 teams would we like to see represent the FVSL this year in provincials.?
This should probably be a new thread, but I'm tired of this shite I've been reading over the last few days.
Any...
With the league so tight going into the break this year, I thought it would be interesting to see how you TTP's think the rest of the season will shape up. It also gives us something to talk about over the christmas break. It would be interesting to see who you think will win the league and who...
