Metro won't be around for too much longer either - it's being phased out a year at a time. Hard to believe (or maybe not), but the talent pool isn't deep enough to support 13 SPL clubs, Metro, and all the academies. So the middle gets dropped out, Div. 1 youth ball gets (maybe) a bit stronger...

VAFC Dynamo vs. NVFC Storm (feat. Catorce Verde vs. Bonefish Jr.). Very tight game with lots of chances going begging for us. Bonefish Jr. played well in goal (young bastard!). 1-0 to the North Shore lads, managed by Bonefish Sr. - great to see him again, too.

Lads did the job today with a 3-2 win over Albania. Catching Met C for 2nd looks unfortunately a bit of a bridge too far as both teams have 5 games left and our lads would have to overcome a 12 point deficit to catch them. Mathematically possible, but dependent on a lot of outside help.
