Seems a bit ham handed, but it's your site. Minus a couple obvious jack-ass posters it was informative and I appreciate what you've added to the community.
Best of luck.
Can you think of some other plausible reasons for proceeding with a merger? This was no small step for either party. You really think it was a "hey, you want join up? Um, sure what the hell." scenario? My comment was pure speculation, but I gave both parties credit for proceeding based on some...
I imagine MFMFC had much to gain from this merger or it would not have been worked. I'm only guessing, but MFMFC would have gained an improved player pool, more technical depth, and likely more financial support in exchange for a sharing of club control/direction.
Soccer in BC would have...
I don't believe the concept has ever been considered at BCSA. They spent years preventing the organic creation of an elite league or teams (e.g. OOD rule); ensuring the standard never got too high and that the clubs were protected. No accountability there. Check out the BCSA site and track down...
CCBFC doesn't have any BCSPL rosters. Just saying. I checked and everything.

Ah, but now the right people are involved. Those that can truly develop our youth to 2022 world cup glory. Now it's value for dollar, before there was just no point.:p
I like what South Fraser did to allow players/parents direct access to the club. They've put up a web form, which allows players to express interest in playing for the club. A more comfortable process (for some) than having to phone the SFFC TD and/or potentially bypass any obstruction they're...
Ricketts was a complete disaster. No idea how he made the roster and if he's the best we've got, we're done for. I guess in a 'mean nothing' game the coaching staff can play a bit, but how is he even an option? I guess we'll see who's out there for the next and certainly more difficult round. I...
Okay, the mini-season is over and HPL clubs are free to try and pillage each other and customers are free to look at other options. This is just grand for those staying within the HPL system, but it can be a real cluster for MSL movement.
BCSA, using advanced logic, has decided that only HPL...
