Well, that year we won promotion, semis in the Presidents Cup, and had won the Premier division the year before. Back then, "B" was a long weekend tournament in Prince George, in the summer. Our team was a bunch of family guys, and the "B" Cup had little value. We just saw it as another summer...
Big debate on Twatter regarding names.
In gest: Lords of Langley. :D
Honestly, what's the best name?
Fraser Valley FC?
Fort FC?
Langley United? (My sentimental choice)
Unfortunately, Langley doesn't exactly inspire a lot of great names.....
Back to this....given how much quality the city has put into facilities, I have really high hopes. I'm thinking this is a Grandstand first, moving to a permanent 5,000 seat facility. Really hope so, anyways. Hope this can be my club to support!
Not a fan of his politics at all, but honestly he's far from the worst Premier we've had, too. He plays it very safe on most issues. This has become the safe play to win votes.
Part of me wants FIFA to tell him to eat a bag of Ds, but honestly, I want games in Vancouver as much as anyone...
Um, by that logic, Johnny @peg leg is a ringer. You know at one time he was a Premier player, right? Just another sandbagger. :D
Honestly, get the fcuk over it. That's the beauty of Open divisions, and I'll be honest, the only thing I miss about playing are Cup Matches and Provincials. It's...
I couldn't find anything on said stadium, either. I mean, location makes sense, in terms of being central and all that, but the traffic is gonna be nuts. That being said, I suppose if they can handle full houses for the Giants, they can handle 5,0000 for a soccer game.
Awesome.
The community is almost unrecognizable from about 5 years ago. That is a legitimate sports complex now.
I assume that there is a stadium similar to MacLeod going up? @Rangerforever ?
Whoever said we should move on from Bo Horvat is an idiot. First to crest 30 on this team? Solid. By the end we'll probably see Miller and Pettey pass 30 too.
Still a glimmer of hope here!
Also, Austin Matthews can eat a bag of dicks.
Cause you guys refused promotion every year, setting in motion a series of catastrophic events in the unravelling of the FVSL. All your fault.
;)
To the Ranger's credit, you still competed for a spot in the A Cup, won that spot playing against premier teams, and IIRC, went a couple of rounds...
Rarely do I offer an opinion, but here it is:
Regarding this sentiment:
"Richmond All Blacks went undefeated this year and will look to get back to their winnings ways in this competition. Unlike in their championship years, they don't have a whole bunch of premier players sandbagging it in...
Had to look up "flotsam". LOL. About right. We are a franchise of flotsam.
I think I posted this when Crepeau moved on that it was idiocy to not either throw cash at him to keep him, or find a like replacement, because he alone was probably responsible for 10+ points last year on wins that...
