All you need is 1 or 2 fields, how about Adanac or Hastings bowl, South Memorial? The VMSL can't find 2 fields that can host 5 games a week??(assumign the premier league stays at 10 games)???? Fields also last longer in the summer with less rain.
I've been in Calgary for a couple of years...
Love the idea! If it works in every other province it will work in BC. Living in Calgary now, i see how the leagues are run here. Nobody complains about summer ball and during the winter guys play indoor or take the winter off. Lower levels play during the week which you could also do in...
Another problem is the timing of the league, Columbus were nearly unbeatable last April/May, but going to Nationals 6 months later they seemed like a totally different team (also represented in the standings so far).
I've been in Calgary over a year and watched the Callies play this year, and even though the Alberta Major League is a joke the Callies are a damn good team. Team has been together forever, very well organized, with seemingly the right player at each position, lots of talent. This team would...

Croatia 2:1 AFC
Didn't see the game but AFC scored first, Croatia replied in the 2nd half. Also heard the game wasn't very entertaining.
Game was all Croatia. Score should have been much worse but Croats can't finish. Khalsa were never really in it, but kudos to HOS who kept his team in it with some great saves in the first half.
HOS, saw the United Way poster today for the first time. It took a long look but it did...
I heard shortly after it happened and I kept waiting for someone to tell me it wasn't true.
What a shock.
I can't even imagine what the Mobilio's are going through right now. This is the worst kind of tragedy, to lose a son and a brother.
Dom was the first local player I ever emulated in...
If your Premier team gets relegated your B team can stay in Div. 1 CAT.
As a CAT player I have been torn between going into Imperial Cup or Div 1 Cup. There is the chance of an upset but in all likelihood if you play a Premier team you get thumped, or you have the opportunity to play more...
Kick in the nuts
KNVB,
Sorry to hear about your back, but especially sorry about being transported to Burnaby G., and just when you think the pain is gone you get a nice bill from the ambulance company to remind you of the lovely afternoon.
Can't fix what ain't broke, or what is too dam broke
WAB,
It's unfortunate that one side of premier has two struggling teams but for once in my life i can't see the league responsible for this one. With Clan and Indo both looking so good last year I think everyone expected both to do well...
