York9 FC's international contingent for the 2020 CPL season is now complete. Diminutive Argentinian midfielder Brian López was announced as the seventh and final international signing by the Nine Stripes on Thursday. CPL clubs are allowed up to seven international players on their roster per season. López, 20, is a former academy prospect at Racing Club, one of the biggest pro sides in Argentina. The five-foot-five midfielder was recently on trial with MLS side Colorado Rapids. He was released in early February.
