Canadian phenom Alphonso Davies and Bayern Munich will continue their hunt for trophies live on OneSoccer when they take on Eintracht Frankfurt in the DFB-Pokal semifinals on Wednesday. OneSoccer, which also carries Canadian national team, Canadian Championship, and Canadian Premier League matches, has acquired the exclusive rights to broadcast Germany’s top cup competition in Canada. This week’s pair of semifinal matches will air live and on demand on OneSoccer.ca and also be made available to watch for free on YouTube. Wednesday’s meeting between Bayern and Frankfurt will feature analysis from OneSoccer personalities Gareth Wheeler, Joshua Kloke, and Oliver Platt as well as other special guests. Davies has ascended to global stardom since joining Bayern from the Vancouver Whitecaps and is looking to continue the form that has seen him notch two goals and an assist in five appearances since the Bundesliga returned to play. Led by Robert Lewandowski, Joshua Kimmich, and Thomas Müller, Bayern enters the semifinals of the DFB-Pokal as the competition’s defending champion and is seeking to lift the trophy for the 20th time. On Tuesday, fourth-division side 1. FC Saarbrücken will look to continue its fairytale run in the competition when it faces Bayer Leverkusen in the first semifinal. Saarbrücken also counts a Canadian international and Whitecaps alumnus in its ranks in midfielder Kianz Froese.
