Cavalry FC are on the board in continental competition after 2023 CPL Golden Boot winner Myer Bevan scored their first-ever Concacaf Champions Cup goal on Tuesday night. In the 64th minute of the second leg of their matchup against MLS side Orlando City SC, the New Zealand international redirected a low cross from William Akio past Mason Stajduhar and into the Orlando net. The goal would ultimately be a consolation effort, as Orlando fell 3-1 on Tuesday, and would lose their first round matchup against Orlando City 6-1 on aggregate. But it was a moment of history for the Alberta club, and a goal they aren't likely to forget any time soon.
