Valour FC today announced that the club has re-signed midfielder Raphael Ohin.

Ohin, 27, returns for his fifth season with Valour FC, originally joining on January 10th, 2019 after spending the previous three seasons with WSA Winnipeg of the Professional Development League (PDL), scoring five goals.

“Raphael has a lot of qualities as a player and can impact a game physically,” said Valour FC Head Coach & GM Phillip Dos Santos. “He’s a phenomenal character and does so much for the club and this community. We’re looking forward to seeing what he can bring in 2023.”

In 2022, Ohin suffered a season-ending injury in training camp and missed the entirety of the season.

In 2021, the midfielder made 28 appearances, totalling 2,135 minutes played, one goal and two assists.

Before coming to Canada, Ohin played for academy teams in several different countries including Switzerland (2010-2011), Thailand (2012), Sweden (2013) and his home country of Ghana (2008-2010).
