Atlético Ottawa claimed their first-ever win over Forge FC on Sunday, as they took all three points in Hamilton with a 1-0 result. Ollie Bassett was the hero for Ottawa again, scoring a stunning free kick late in the second half to put his side ahead after a series of good opportunities from Forge that went unfinished. So, Atleti climbed up the table, now tied with Cavalry FC for first place on 24 points, having collected their seventh victory of 2022.
