Tristan Borges scored the first hat-trick in club history for Forge FC on Tuesday as the Hamilton side topped FC Edmonton 4-3 at Clarke Stadium. The Eddies scored early and then restored their lead later in the first half to go into the dressing room with an advantage, but Forge's attack came to life for three goals in the latter 45 minutes as they erased two deficits en route to the win. FCE attacker Kairo Coore pulled one back for his side -- his first professional goal -- to bring them within one in the final few minutes, but ultimately Edmonton would be left empty-handed despite their promising first half.
