Pacific FC to sell branded face masks to help provide meals to those in need

May 14, 2020, Langford, BC – Pacific FC announced Thursday the launch of a Pacific FC mask campaign with BC Restaurant and Foodservices Association to help provide food to those in need throughout the region. “We are working with local restaurants and the City of Langford to create a unique program to help those who need it most in our community,” said Brad Norris-Jones, Vice President Operations, Pacific FC. “We’re hoping we can make an impact on both staying safe and the growing need for basic necessities in the region.” Over the coming weeks, Pacific FC will be selling the branded masks online with net proceeds being divided between 14 restaurants and food service companies that support the club. The restaurants will use the funds to provide meals to a Langford non-profit agency for example the Food Bank or school meal program. Canadians are growing more accustomed to wearing cloth face masks while walking around their neighbourhoods or running errands during the COVID-19 pandemic. Fans and supporters can show their team pride by wearing Pacific FC non-medical grade protection masks and be part of the We Are One community. Masks are tentatively scheduled to ship in early June. Cost for 2 face masks will be $19.99 plus tax. Shipping or curb side pickup from the Island Training Centre are available.
