League1 Ontario has postponed the start of their 2020 season over COVID-19 concerns, just as the Canadian Premier League did on Friday. Both men’s and women’s divisions of Ontario's top high-performance division were set to begin on April 24. "We will continue to work with all of those authorities in order to make a decision on when to begin our 2020 season when it is declared safe by the relevant health and government agencies, including our governing bodies – Ontario Soccer and Canada Soccer," the statement said.
